Must be wonderful to have traditions that stretch back for hundreds of years … Your photos show a group of people involved in theirs but enjoying themselves. That vertical stack must look super !!!!!

Yes, it’s a nice tradition. I have been in such Helsinki Midsummer celebration 4-6 times. Nowadays, we tend to go driving with friends around the southern Finland looking for bonfires and landscapes… 🙂 All the Seurasaari bonfires are almost pieces of art!
